How does ADSL work?
ADSL uses existing telephone lines, taking advantage of the entire spectrum of
this transmission medium. All data and voice signals, whether analogue or digital,
are transmitted via the same telephone cable that is already in place. You
can therefore simultaneously phone (analogue or ISDN), send and receive faxes,
surf the internet as well as send and receive e-mails.
The only thing you will need is a special
modem and a network card in your PC. This will
be supplied to you by fastadsl.ch and, if required,
installed and tested on site.
The following link will show you whether ADSL
can already be used in your telephone exchange
